Painter and decorative art illustrator.
Studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of the Netherlands (Amsterdam).
From 1922 to 1938, he settled in Florence, where he established a workshop specializing in decorative items for office supplies, lampshades, and more.
From 1938 until his death, he lived on the French Riviera (Menton, Cagnes-sur-Mer, and Nice).
He created a significant number of paintings. These landscapes and portraits were produced and sold in Florence, on the French Riviera (Cagnes-sur-Mer, Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and Menton, among others), and in the Italian Piedmont, where he spent short summer stays in the 1950s (Demonte Piemonte, Limone Piemonte, Pradleves, etc.).
